Persian Gulf (Dec. 22, 2006) – The city of Dubai, one of the seven emirates that comprise the United Arab Emirates, is seen from aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Anzio (CG 68) as it pulls into port. Anzio is currently deployed with USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations and global war on terrorism.
